Enviro Automotive launched DFSK electric vehicles already in 2022 to the South African market, DFSK is a Chinese automobile manufacturer that was established in 2003. The company was a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Corporation, one of China's largest automobile manufacturers, and Sokon Group that was recently changed to SERES Group , a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles. DFSK was the first Chinese carmaker to receive European Automotive Certification back in 2008. SERES Group produces a range of new energy vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. However, in recent years, the company has gained attention for its electric vehicles (EVs). SERES Group has invested heavily in the development of EVs and has introduced several models to the market. Enviro Automotive also recently partnered with Wilgin Holdings to Launch the DFSK Brand across South Africa. There are already 18 DFSK Dealerships located countrywide and more dealerships planned to be opened soon.
Enviro Automotive also partnered with Dayun Auto, a Chinese brand of commercial vehicles that specializes in the manufacturing of heavy-duty trucks. The company was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Jinan, China. Dayun Auto offers a wide range of commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, tractor trucks, cargo trucks, and special trucks such as concrete mixer trucks and crane trucks.
The company has also developed electric trucks, hybrid trucks and Electric Passenger vehicles as part of its efforts to promote sustainable transportation. Enviro Automotive also launched the most affordable EV in South Africa during 2024, the DAYUN S5 "Mini SUV" to promote sustainable city transportation.
As a muti-branded EV Importer and distributor, Enviro Automotive will continue expanding on their partnerships and affordable Electric Vehicle Models to provide consumers and companies in South Africa with more options to transition to electric mobility.

Based in Pretoria, Enviro Automotive is South Africa’s first multi-brand electric vehicle importer and distributor, working with a number of complementary international partners in the commercial and passenger New Energy Vehicle market. We have already introduced a range of light commercial electric vehicles to the South African market since 2022, we are ready to support the needs of South African individuals and businesses alike. Following this, we have released a heavy commercial electric vehicle at the start of 2023, and we’re already working to further expand our range of vehicles and brands on offer in 2024, including an exciting range of electric cars.
As more and more companies and consumers aim to reduce their impact on the environment and to reduce the ever rising costs to refuel their vehicles and the impact on the environment, the choice and range of electric vehicles available in South Africa has to grow. We at Enviro Automotive intend to provide the most affordable Electric Vehicles to the South African market, so that the transition to driving an electric car or electric commercial vehicle is simple, accessible and sustainable. We currently have 8 different EV models available for the South African market to assist in the transitioning to electric mobility.
